Candy containers have been a part of Halloween since the early 1900s when sweet treats were placed in comic veggie people, black cat, witch figures, and more -- often made in Germany. Throughout the 20th century, candy containers of all shapes and sizes continued to be a Halloween tradition, including the very desirable hard plastic pieces from the 1950s.
